Well it was talk of a swap with Jo, who like I said, has been a flop and has also been a reputed party animal as well. Not a "buy" per se, and I hardly see how he could possibly be any worse than Jo has been so far.Adriano's a bit not enthusiastic and a party animal. Mourinho wouldn't let him be available if he didn't have some baggage. A good summer buy maybe but not now.

Yeah. We've done alright out of the deal, TBH, especially given that for the last seven or eight games he might as well have been wearing a Tottenham shirt. As F365 put it, Spurs have essentially paid Pompey £8m to take him on loan for a year.
Be prepared to be disappointed IMO.if we were any more than £23million in debt in the first place, then we were ****ed anyway.
I'm preparing myself, ITBT. Would not be remotely surprised if we got relegated this year.Be prepared to be disappointed IMO.
Nah. Looked a bit too car-crash for my liking. As I'm old enough to remember him at his sublime best, I'm not going to put myself through watching the shell of a man he seems.Looking well...Did anyone watch the documentary series about him on Monday?
Was actually handled quite sensitively. Gazza was only in it for the first ten minutes, after that it was more about the effect his absence/abuse/alcoholism had on Cheryl and the kids. He moved back in with them after his latest spell in rehab, but did one after 12 days when Cheryl refused to let him sleep with her. After that he was only a presence on the phone as he went on tour with Iron Maiden (no, really) and began another descent.Nah. Looked a bit too car-crash for my liking. As I'm old enough to remember him at his sublime best, I'm not going to put myself through watching the shell of a man he seems.
Selling Elano is a really bad idea IMO. It's going to happen whether I like it or not probably, but he and Robinho are really good friends. Seeing probably the only reason Robinho eventually put pen to paper (and the money lol) out the door six months after he did it can't be good IMO.Couple of very interesting articles about the troubles at Citeh in today's Guardian by Daniel Taylor Hughes's hands tied by City politics & Hughes keen to dump rebels.
Sparky wants rid of Jo & Elano at all costs, apparently. & if what it says of Ben Haim is true, well words fail me:
With Cesc, Theo and Rosicky (may he RIP) all crocked the midfield has been turgid recently. Struggling to create more than one or two chances a game and with only one semi clinical striker fit(van Persie) it's not good enough.Arsenal in talks with Zenit over Arshavin
ITSTL, would be interested to get BBs thoughts on this. Surely Wenger has to go for a strong on the ball midfielder during the transfer window.
