Schweinsteiger (spell check also) looks good, but i highly doubt we could get Wesley or Casillas though, probably Van der Vart.
= Cack. Bad skin, bad hair and on top of that he can't always get into the Bayern first team. Going to raid Bayern might as well get Ribery or Altıntop.

Van der Vaart has no pace (accounted for by injuries) which is probably why he plays in Germany. Not good enough for Man U.

Whilst I think Adebayor is slightly overrated and not worth £23m, he's still an important part of the Arsenal team - he actually has an aerial presence. If he goes IMO he'll need replacing by someone similar - as Sledger said, Villa would be more effective partnering him than replacing him, given the needs of the team.

DWTA, rate him highly personally, that said I'd be irritated if we sign him, we need no strengthening in that position, and it would represent money wasted that could have gone on a right back or a big striker (or a right winger if Ronnie goes).

Heard the horrible rumour that Peter Crouch is being considered as a potential replacement today...can't stress how much I hope that remains a rumour and nothing more.

Good to see another Utd fan actually considering him. But for his sake coming to Utd might as the Ronaldo replacement might mess him up mentally bettter of going off the another big club.

On the possible replacements for Ronaldo, really don't think anyone in Europe is available. Madrid if Ronaldo goes will have the two best wingers in the buisness & i don't think we can bully Bayern for Ribery. Another option is Quaresma but i'm too sure about his quality.

Right back not necessary IMO. Hate the thought of shelling out loads of money on youngsters from other countries and no prospects since O'Shea and Fletcher making it through. What's the point of a having a youth system then if it's only to benefit smaller clubs?

Isn't he joining Juventus in the first place?

Lampard joining Inter in a £7.5m move according to France Football. This will also coincide Ricardo Quaresma's £27m according to reports in Portugal.

£7.5m seems an awful lot of money for somebody who is 30ish with just a year left on his contract, actually

Like him or not, he's an institution. All of us have grown up with him as the voice of football. Glad he's still doing MOTD for the time being, but he'll be missed when World Cup 2010 comes around.

Yes, Waddle about the best summariser around at the moment, keyly he doesn't keep on trying to make piss-poor jokes all the time.

Don't mind Motty, but prefer Davies. Both better then ITV's man u cheerleader Tyldesley or the excreble Alan Green on radio 5. Hate that bloke with a vengeance.

Big games on tonight guys, the masters on SS2, Tranmere-Liverpool-Everton-Wigan. All my mates from the footy are there, now wishing I had joined them, the whites currently leading the blue****e 3-0. Foaming at the mouth at some of the names in our side tbh, the keeper Achterberg actually still plays for us!
