I'm not, not saying it was true, but it's reported that Rooney has said he will never ever play with Ronaldo again, and that when he comes back to training...well think Hartson/Berkovic

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Word on the Merseyside streets is that Rooney has stated he is gonna "do him in"
Should have gone anyway for the stamping. Both are ****s in my view I hope they kill each other.

That news has now gone from "word on the street" to "news" - several sites are now running a story about Rooney trying to get into the Portugal dressing room after the game, and about how he told team-mates at breakfast the next day that he was going to "split Ronaldo in two". He also apparently refuses to play in the same team as him again. Hmmm.

And for somebody like him he would get his wish which is wrong.

If I were the manager, he would not get away with that attitude.

Trouble is Fergie would rather sell the dancing fairy to keep the violent lunatic happy, and he'd be right I suppose football/business-wise.

I'd sell them both personally.

Easy for me to say that of course, and to be fair when I was 20-odd I was a right **** too so I can't be too hard on the fellow.

If United sell them both they will achieve absolutely nothing next season. Ronaldo, being the fanny he is, will not take too kindly to the death threats he will undoubtedly receive upon his return to England. I can't see him sticking it out. fergie's deicison is not a difficult one anyway, Rooney is by far and away a much better player.

Those who give out death threats take football way too seriously.

There is more to life then a round ball game.

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Well yes. But that doesn't alter the fact that he will receive death threats. Although I would imagine 98% of these threats would never be carried out, there is the odd one who would if he got the chance.

Hmm, not sure which story to believe - Sky are reporting that everything is fine between Rooney and Ronaldo, and they've texted each other since and sorted it out.

Still don't think you can seriously call it a "stamp".
Well, he didn't turn round and say "Soz, Ricardo la, but I appear to have trod on your nuts. No 'ard feelins, eh?" Therefore, I'm beginning to assume it were a deliberate stamp.

Well, the fact that Carvalho was rolling around like a tart is hardly going to do wonders for young Master Rooney's obviously underdeveloped social-skills is it?

"I say, old chap, I may've inadvertantly caught your plums with my studs there but, dash it all if you aren't trying to get me into hot water with the bally referee. Frightfully poor form, Ricky, old fruit. Oh, here comes Cristiano to sort out this terrible mix up....Why you confounded bounder Ronaldo...."

Rolling around on the floor like a tart he may have been, which totally disgusting and does nothing to disprove the fact both rugby codes > football but tbf, if someone stood on my ****, I'd have been rolling around like a tart and all. And Rooney handled it particularly badly. Carvalho can act like a puff to try and get Rooney sent off, so what was stopping Rooney from acting like he's sincere and innocent in order to try and stay on the field? Instead he looks around with a face like thunder and pushes Ronaldo. That makes a good impression...

& if someone of Rooney's bulk & obvious strength had trod on your Max Walls would have been up & about in a couple of minutes? Nah, it'd be a trip to the ER and no binding underwear for the next year.

I'm defending Rooney here unduly, but I think we all act differently in the heat of battle with the adrenaline pumping than we would in the ordinary course of events.

I still think that he was more interested in the singular than the plural, just look at what he's watching at the time.

Cesc Fabregas, Kaka, Arjen Robben, and Fabio Capello off to Real Madrid?

The others may happen, except for Fabregas (unless Real offered Arsenal a really stupid amount of money), but if it did happen it would really wind up Barcelona since that is where he came from. Anyway Arsenal would be really stupid to sell him anyway, unless they got players in return, and good ones too (might include II Fenomeno and Raul since their future is in doubt).

That said Barca should of moved heaven and earth to keep him there, so if he did end up at their biggest rivals on and off the pitch (go back to the Franco days) it would be their own fault for being carless enough to let him go.

You snooze, you lose.

West Ham United is delighted to announce the signing of England under-21 striker Carlton Cole from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Upton Park and becomes Alan Pardew's third summer signing following the arrivals of Lee Bowyer and Jonathan Spector last month.

LOL, missed this :D

West Ham United have tonight completed the signing of Preston North End defender Tyrone Mears in a deal that could rise to almost £2million.

The 23-year-old right-back has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Upton Park and becomes Alan Pardew's second signing in the space of a few hours following the arrival of Carlton Cole from Chelsea earlier this evening.

How are Chelsea going to manage their quota of Club-trained players now for the CL?

They have sold Huth and Cole, and Pidelegy (sp) has joined Millwall)...
