Good win for us yesterday, didn’t deserve the victory and on any normal day we would have lost comfortably by 3 or 4. But when you have mediocrity personified and England’s premier forward leading the line, such wastage of chances is to be expected. Cracking goal by us though, Tugay dropping the shoulder and playing a fantastic through ball to Gamst and polished off with goal keeping heroics from super Brad. Had an awful time at Anfield but his been simply awesome for us over the years and ridiculously consistent, easily one of the best goalies in Premiership history.

In League One, its the Cricket Web Derby. My Team, Nottingham Forest, play GIMHs team Tranmere. If your interested Geraint, we could make a wager, you know, change the avatars and all that business

Norwood's on Fire
Okay cool.

I have a bet running where Hussey will have to be my avatar when this series ends unless Bell scores about 600, but I'll do this one in the meantime.

If you lot win, then I'll take the Forest player, past or present, of your choice in my avatar.

And if we win, well it's simple really innit. The player of my choice would obviously be Chris Greenacre

Dunno what to do if it's draw though

EDIT - anything else you wish to add, I'm game

If its draw, just put in your sig "Well Played Forest" or something, and ill do likewise with Tranmere

We shouldve done this for the game earlier this season, but the thought never came across.

Mr Geraint,y ou have yourself a deal

I bet a few Arse fans punched the air when Reading's second went in.

As did I. :)

A quality footballing day, yesterday.

EDIT: And Moroninho saying yesterday that Terry is in a fair amount of trouble with his injury is certainly interesting. Chelsea have been awful defensively since his injury, so that gives me fresh hope.

Would be pretty happy to see Forest and Tranmere play out a draw tbh. Hopefully Ronnie's boys can rough em up a bit for NYD as well.

So pretty much the same teams that are always up the top or there-abouts?
Well yea, but what i was trying to say is that with Arsenal & Liverpool (more so) having a sluggish start in the first half of the season & ATM getting their A-Game together if they keep improving into next year any slip ups from my boys or Chelsea & it may not be a 2 horse race to the title anymore.

Liverpool have great home form, but dire away form. Based on that i bet someone a £1 that Blackburn would win yesterday, and that they did.
