Anybody here know anything about Duncan Edarwds? If Eddie was around I bet he would know. Anyway, I'm aksing because on the Man Utd forum there was a thread about Manchester United Opus and it's ranking of players. Most were quite peeved that he wasn't number one over Charlton and Best. From what I've heard he was probably one of the best to ever play the game and if he'd lived long enough maybe even the best ever. From what I've read he was the complete footballer and the only one to make Sir Bobby feel inferior. A man who played in the era of Pele and alongside George Best.
Hmm, if you mean the United forum at ********* the general consensus was that Charlton deserved his place at number one.

However, it was generally agreed that it would have been better to split the ranking up into seperate eras - but then it would spark no debate and wouldn't serve its purpose.

There was also quite a stink that Billy Meredith wasn't included, but since no-one alive saw him play, I personally fail to see how he could have been included.

EDIT: Ah, filter.

If it didn't refer to half the Premiership of course...
Arsenal are by far the worst IMO.

Other teams have the odd player here or there (Drogba, Ronaldo etc) but Arsenal have large amounts of them.

And Lehman is the most dislikable player I have ever seen.

Ok, Eboue may go down a little easily on occasion, but we've punted our two biggest divers (Cashley & Pires) now. Who else are you suggesting dives?

Wayne "Toffee til I die or turn 18, whichever is sooner" Rooney dives & is certainly a mercenary. His "earning" of the penalty against us the season before last was outrageous.

Tbf Pires was always the worst, but Lehman often gets overlooked in goal, always making the most of any little touch he can. As for the rest, van Persie always goes down, I've never thought Henry is a saint, and I'm probably forgetting a few debatable ones.

It's not just the fact that they dive - they're all foreign, and in an English league IMO that's not a good thing for English football as a whole. I didn't mind Cole so much purely for the fact that he was often your only Englishman...

And Chelsea 1-0 down, get in!

Decent goals by Chelski it has to be said
Yes, but the fact that they were limited to long-range says something.

I think Moronho's tactics of late leave a lot to be desired, and just leave everyone getting in each others' way. Teams are beginning to see that Chelsea have cracks and are giving them more of a game.

I'm really trying to support the Chavs (slightly lesser of two evils), but just can't bring myself to do it.

On plus side I've got Fat Frank and Diving Didier in my Dream Team, so there's a slight silver lining.

Now onto overcoming a real potential banana skin tomorrow (players wanting to impress manager and all, plus Tevez will want to put himself in the shop window for the big Italian/Spanish clubs and might see a big performance against us as his springboard).
Knew it. :(

Ah well, we were rubbish. That dramatically lessens our chances - I've felt for a while that once we lose one we might lose a lot.

Tevez didn't play though. Anyway, we lost a lot after Arsenal too right? It's to be expected to not go the rest of the season unbeaten. Chelsea won't either. They'll lose at least two more games. I predict at most one more loss for Man Utd.

I'm starting to think this entire season will come down to the game at Stanford Bridge.

West Ham deserved the win, but I'm gutted.

Yea the game @ the Bridge next year is going the decide for real, didn't watch the game, but its seems like West Ham did deserve the win. First blunder of the season, lets hope they don't slip up for the rest of the year..
