What was the opinion of Edu among Arsenals when he dediced to leave on a Bosman to Valencia? Because it looks as though he was given a curse because he suffered a serious knee injury not long after he signed and now he apparently out for the season with cruciate knee ligament damage.

I always thought of him as a good player. I mean joining Arsenal was able to get him into the Brazilian team.

No issue with him. He was up front about wanting to go &, as far as I know, wasn't ever so insulted by being offered a mere £55k a week he nearly crashed his car.

He was a useful squad player, the odd flash of real quality.

Unfortunately it's the result next round that's the key one for the CDMs. Looks like you'll need a win unless you win this week, then only a draw, which isn't much easier.

Rooney did the same not 15 minutes before. Went up for a header. Came down second best. Stuck his arms out, pleaded to the referee and got the free kick. At least the referee's consistent with his officiating of wendyball.
