Correct although Evra's ahead of Heinze atm.
Farcial IMO.

I would rather get rid of Evra and buy Wayne Bridge in the January transfer window. I'll be shocked if he doesn't leave as he is too good to be sitting on the bench at Chelsea.

Flecther played regularly and well at the start of the season but is second choice to Carrick and Scholes.
Fletcher is only really played on the wing this season, so I wouldn't compare him to the central midfielders.

As for Evra, I couldn't stand him one bit last season, I even posted all over the United Rant boards that I wanted him sold, but this season he's been fantastic, improved drastically (as has Fletcher, although not to the same degree) and I'm happy to eat my words. What United games have you been watching, Craig?

The last one I watched was against Liverpool.

Although I think that was the last one they have shown over here - I can't be 100% certain.

Ah, can't remember if Evra played that game, but I can say that Evra has improved enough for me to be happy when he's in the starting lineup. Haven't really felt that Heinze is at his best lately either, I have to say, despite him being one of my favourite players.

Too bad Barry got injured againts Chelsea would have surely been called up, and geez for the life of me Jenas & Phil again gets picked, where is Reo-coker..

Hmm, now let me see - Brown (supposedly the best natural defender in the country), at least one of Heinze/Silvestre, Ronaldo, Rooney, O'Shea, Fletcher.

Such a "second string" there...
How many starts so far this season for Fletcher, O'Shea, Heinze (and to a lesser extent Silvestre)?

Evra has been very good this season, he's been pushing Heinze pretty hard which is a good effort. Bridge won't leave Chelsea i don't think, even though Khaled B can play left-back as back-up to Ash i think Jose has Bridge has the second choice left-back.

Tbh I rate them both, Evra has improved massively this season.

Cole's suspended isn't he? Give Baines the gig, imo. Should play even if Cashley's available, on second thoughts.
The boy is impressive but not good enough to oust Ashley as first choice, but could get up to second choice if he keeps performing since Bridge being on the bench for so long could cost him.

I don't know whgat the big fuss is since you lost anyway.
There is no fuss - it's the Mickeymouse cup. However, a lot of people who hate United have irrationally trying to make out as though it was our 1st team over here on SSN and whatnot (and clearly Marc believes them) when it isn't exactly true if you look at it.

It's about time Micah Richards left Man City, hopefully getting picked for England will encourage someone to put in a bid. Preferrably a grossly excessive one at that(i'm thinking SWP here)

Micah Richards called up ahead of Glen Johnson. Gah.
he has looked good for Pompey, but the last time he played for England he looked out of depth along with Young. I think Richards has the goods to be a really good full-back, hopefully one that will be the case.

Sod the Carling Cup.

FA Cup kicks off proper tomorrow - anyone fancy picking a shock?

I'm backing the Grecians.

Certainly wasn't the youth team though was it?

and was it still the Mickeymouse Cup when you realised it was the only thing you could win last year?

a) Not the point - it wasn't the first team, as some suggested.

b) In my eyes, yes.
