That would be all well and good if he did do that - except he didn't. He was celebrating in front of his own technical area. He only walked towards Wenger once Wenger had already got out of the pram.marc71178 said:The going up to Wenger and baiting him?
Absolutely no reason to approach him.
No, he celebrated away from him, then went over and said something - it's not as if Wenger raced over to him to start it.Scaly piscine said:He didn't go up to Whingeur and bait him. He just celebrated near him
Funny how if he did nothing wrong, he personally felt the need to apologise for it after the game isn't it?Tom Halsey said:That would be all well and good if he did do that - except he didn't. Probably because he's naturally embarrassed. That doesn't mean he did anything wrong, and if you're resorting to that argument it would suggest you have no solid evidence...marc71178 said:Funny how if he did nothing wrong, he personally felt the need to apologise for it after the game isn't it?
Yes he did, Pardew only even looked at Wenger once Wenger had started towards him.marc71178 said:No, he celebrated away from him, then went over and said something - it's not as if Wenger raced over to him to start it.
I love the way you can twist what's on screen to suit yourself.Scaly piscine said:YouTube link, from Match of the Day:

Whingeur probably had the first comment, otherwise why would Pardew suddenly stop celebrating and wander over saying 'Why'?
The Milk cup is such a fine name for it in my opinion, sums it up i think. Carling cup is rather dull.grecian said:I quite like the Milk cup, or whatever they call it in this tawdry millenium. You see some good youngsters, and some old-fashioned cup football, with upsets.
Not sure if you watched Good Morning Sports Fans yesterday, but they showed a different camera angle - one where you could see both of them, and Wenger clearly makes the first move. That MotD clip Scaly provided appears to be on point too - because from the GMSF clip, it would appear that one of Pardew's celebrations, supposedly in the direction of Wenger (though it is highly debatable whether that was intentional), started it.marc71178 said:I haven't seen Pardew "stop celebrating and walk over", hence I cannot comment on it.
He walks towards Wenger, clearly saying something, yet you've decided that was all Wenger's fault - pretty typical for you.
