Millwall fans smashed The Clipper up last night, and then our teenage wannabes went on the march. Sad night for Football in Birkenhead last night, but it's gone pretty much unreported, which is fine by me. I was chatting to some Millwall lads went it all went off, and they apologised - like it's their fault. As for whoever it was who wound them up, well that's just stupid as well. I've spent the last two and a half years claiming that Millwall fans are cool and nothing to worry about anymore, so for one of our lads to get their backs up was disappointing, as was their reaction, there were kids in the Pub FFS, my 12 year old brother included. And finally, it was a disgrace the way people were pouring onto Borough Road in search of trouble - 90% of them know full well that they'll just bait and run, and hell if they don't run fast enough they'll get destroyed, I hope they do sometime soon because our club is full of little ASBOs at the moment that are dimishing my enjoyment of a Friday Night/Saturday afetrnoon.

Onwards and upward though, whites played very well, though Millwall weren't so bad. I'll go and find out from Jeff Stelling now where we are in the table. Superwhitearmy.

I thought Clauido Ranieri might have been a good choice if they had considered him. Will this be the return of Sven Goran Eriksson to the horror of closet Middlesborough fan Scaly Piscine?

TBF if you were offered 18m and 11m for Ferdinand and Lampard at the time you would have been inclined to take it considering Lampard wasn't the player he was today. Buying Ferdinand was a good deal for Leeds because they were able to make a nice profit when they sold him.

Carrick, Cole and Defoe were all sold after they were relegated I think.

I don't know about Craig's comment about Leeds making a big profit on Ferdinand either with Ridsdale's shady lease like transfer deals.

I'd say all of them went to bigger clubs from West Ham.

Well, that all depends if you rate Spurs or Leeds, I don't much.

It still remains to be said, his appointment of Roeder when West Ham were doing very nicely, which then helped cause relegation, and the rape of one of the finest set of youngsters produced by a team in the last thirty years.

Shepards incompetent, but at least hes kept on putting his hand in his pocket, and doesn't sell anyone who can get half a fee for. Even Freddie Kanoutes the leading scorer in spain at the moment.

Looks like my misplaced faith in chief poseur's ability to flog rubbish teams is going to cost me in the fantasy competition, even the rubbish teams seem to know how to shut the CDMs down most days.
