Didn't see the incident, so I assume he got sent off for taking his shirt off? If so what a maroon! The rule isn't exactly a secret is it? I personally think players can celebrate goals perfectly adequately without recourse to partial nudity! It's just unprofessional & the refs have no choice to make themselves look like bad sports because if they don't book the culprits it will be mentioned in their assessment reports.Craig said:And surely Marco Materazzi has to win idiot of the week for his sending off even if the rules are farcial (I mean he had a t-shirt on underneth).
More or less so.BoyBrumby said:Didn't see the incident, so I assume he got sent off for taking his shirt off? If so what a maroon! The rule isn't exactly a secret is it? So why is it that Roeder isn't playing him if he's "more talented"?roseboy64 said:Only in the pecking order not in terms of talent.
He hardly even took the shirt off, besides anyway he had a vest on underneath. IMO it wasn't a good decision.BoyBrumby said:Didn't see the incident, so I assume he got sent off for taking his shirt off? If so what a maroon! The rule isn't exactly a secret is it? It's a mystery.marc71178 said:So why is it that Roeder isn't playing him if he's "more talented"?
No. In the opportunities he's gotten this season he's looked better than either Amoebi or Martins, depending on who he's playing with.marc71178 said:No it's not - it just puts into perspective how good he actually is at this stage...
I would have to agree. With the exception of Yeovil every team ive seen at Brentford this season have been pretty poor. I think its 9 games since the bees last won a league match and im getting pretty worried. But still a couple of victories a and they are back in the top half. At the moment i just dont see whare those victories are going to come from.GeraintIsMyHero said:Whites back to winning ways against lowly Bournemouth...weird game in that it was dull, but aside from our goal, we hit the bar about 4 times, their keeper made two marvellous saves, both would have been contenders for goals of the season if he hadn't saved them, and they cleared a header off the line.
This league is pathetic though, we didn't win in about six games, we win one game and all of a sudden we're in the top 5. I'm sure SKD and TomNCCC will back me up on the pathetic quality of the division. Only a handful of players stand out, Chris Greenacre and Chris Shuker basically
!
Real shock. Handy player from what I hear, too. Best wishes to the lad.BoyBrumby said:

Get well soon, son. God that's just absolute rotten luck for anyone at that age, but for a professional athlete.....
Amoebi and Martins were more proven. Same with Sibierski.marc71178 said:So if that's so, how come he's never been picked to start till this weekend when both Ameobi and Martins were missing then?
That really is a tragic. My thoughts go out to himBoyBrumby said:

Huntelaar would be the cheapest.roseboy64 said:If Fergie can get the Glazer's consent I'm sure he'll pay 30 mil for Torres. Klose and Toni are around the same age so not much difference there. Adriano seems to have personal problems. I'm guessing Huntelaar or Torres would be the best buy right now for future planning.
I just watched the game the yeasterday (which is way I stayed away from finding the result) and he made Roberto Carlos look like a fool. Time to go IMO as he has been losing it for a while.TT Boy said:Messi, even in the defeat against Real Madrid he was still the best player on the park by a distance. Kids ridiculous talented and the hype is fully justified, his box-office.
Or maybe they're just better at this stage?roseboy64 said:Amoebi and Martins were more proven. Same with Sibierski.
