rough clash at the nou camp, 11 yellows haha. It would be superb to see Lampard play like this for England, he was brilliant tonight playing out of position on the left.

yeah i lost a few quid tonight on stupid bets like no of corners in a ten minute period etc, also bet on there being a card between 50-60 minutes. There must have been at least 2 cards in every other 10 minute period...

Based on what exactly? Because last time I checked, you weren't there watching the players every day to see who is actually better at this stage...

As you're accepting you haven't been watching them all, how do you persist in this idea that he is a better player?
Going by what I've seen them do in matches.

Particularly impressive was the "I want the ball" gesture when about three yards offside inside opposing box with ten FCK players. With the "how on earth was I offside?" following after he put the ball in the net.

More 'brilliant' finishing from chief poseur tonight as well I gather...

CDMs will probably need at least a draw in their last game in Porto to be definitely through even if they beat the group whipping boys Hamburg. If results go their way (Moscow beat Porto next wave of fixtures and CDMs beat Hamburg) then a 1 goal defeat or a 2 goal defeat with away goal will be enough assuming results between teams tied on points is the next deciding factor as I think it is.

We could not hit a cow's arse with a banjo tonight. Fair play to CSKA, got what they came for. We need a result in Portugal now, really with Porto dicking Hamburg.

Van Persie & Rosicky worse offenders. Rosicky's up there with Tommy Smith's against the spuds as miss of the season so far.

I have to say, without Giggs and Neville in the team, nobody really seemed to fire up the other players around them. Scholes might have done if he had started, not sure, but overall it seemed to be the attitude of a team playing a friendly. Apparently SAF was "jovial" when he arrived and the team seemed very laid back and buddy-like with the other team (outside of one late incident involving Heinze). Can United only really play top quality when something is at stake?

Man Utd have been ordered to stop their pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves or face being reported to Fifa. (Daily Mirror)

Bayern are just setting a desperate ManU up for a raping in the January window. 15m+ anyone?

it all depends on what Hargreaves wants in the end, once a player once to move as shown by the likes of Essein, Diarra, Gallas & Cole the club can't do much to stop them.

When I saw it I thought people like Fabregas, van Persie and Rosicky were all drunk? You and I probably would have scored those.

Or there is another method in screwing the player around by not letting him train with anybody and tell him he is noty allowed at the traing ground or stadium untill he apologies and it will be like that until his contract expires, after a few months he will be fat and his skills will start to drop, a year or two and nobody will want him.

And let''s face it Lyon are hardly missing Diarra and Essien now are they?
