As Moyes was sent off for complaining that the ref was playing too much injury time I think it's fair to say we probably had the better of things.

Nice to see Wayne returning to form; just a shame about the whole ManUre winning thing.

6 minutes to go, Micky Adams prepares his final sub, Wayne Andrews on for his debut to replace Leon McKenzie.

Coventry fans start booing and chanting "you don't know what you're doing"

Andrews first touch is a goal, the only goal of the match...

Well, good news is City are in the first round proper, and have a home draw.

Bad news is, it might be on t'telly:cry:

Wayne Andrews, the ex Oldham player? if so, it's only downhill from today

Whites back to winning ways against lowly Bournemouth...weird game in that it was dull, but aside from our goal, we hit the bar about 4 times, their keeper made two marvellous saves, both would have been contenders for goals of the season if he hadn't saved them, and they cleared a header off the line.

This league is pathetic though, we didn't win in about six games, we win one game and all of a sudden we're in the top 5. I'm sure SKD and TomNCCC will back me up on the pathetic quality of the division. Only a handful of players stand out, Chris Greenacre and Chris Shuker basically :p

What's that coming over the hill? It's Gareth Taylor! It's Gareth Taylor! Chant of the year for me!

Messi, even in the defeat against Real Madrid he was still the best player on the park by a distance. Kids ridiculous talented and the hype is fully justified, his box-office.
i dunno i;d say Robinho looked equally as good that day with his play on the right wing..

Have to laugh at Motty screaming ****tu at the top of his voice, then cutting his name off when a chance is created - "across to ****- oh, so close!"

You should've lost - your goal wasn't a freekick IMO.
It was a free kick, just it was further back. Carsley had a couple of unsuccessful digs at the ball and knocked the CDMs player off balance, then Carsley finally actually got something on the ball.

Fair enough, wasn't really paying attention to what happened earlier.

You also said he was "not far off" Torres, which considering how good Torres is, is a huge overstatement of the ability of someone who is currently behind Shola Ameobi...
Only in the pecking order not in terms of talent.
