never heard of him, vicente on the other hand ended last season in shocking form, not sure how he has started this time around.

Well if sledger is found dead under a pile of rocks with inaccurate spelt out in his own blood then we'll know who did it
haha, one of the best posts i have ever seen from you, in all honesty.

Whites 0-0 away to Swansea at half-time. Wish I was there. Boy did I get drunk en route and on return from there last season.

Come on whites, let's have a nice victory, go second overnight, and put pressure on those wannabe Premiership boys at Forest :p

The talk of left-sided players for England has been a regular this week. Downing is there as the current backup to big Joe Cole but not many are convinced about him at the international level currently, Gareth Barry has we all know has been doing very well of late & IMO deserves to be in the England squad, good for him he is under Martin O'Neil, he could really help Barry become a better player, if Villa have a good season i expect him to get called up.

Talk of West Ham's Matt Etherington is also around & surprising Theo Walcott who performance today for England's under-21 by all accounts on the left-side was impressive.

These days most sides & coaches want pace & Walcott since Rooney's emergence is probably England next big young talent & if he keeps it up maybe thats where he may play for England if he gets called up again.

Same could be said for Frank Lampard and Ronaldo.

Actually if you pronounce Ronaldo's name, Ronaldao, it translates to big Ron. As the 'inho' in a name makes it small - ie Ronaldinho is little Ronaldo.

Relevance? Not a lot, just thought I would share it with everybody :laugh :p

Heh yea, I had the rugby on in the background and they were ribbing taff Edwards about the current 5-1 scoreline. Then the news comes on and they show the earlier 2-0 scoreline with the second Slovakia goal going in with the headline 'Wales facing uphill battle after goalkeeping blunder' (something along those lines)... bit of an understatement really.

Anyway time to see how England do - anything less than 10-0 will be greeted with a dozen rants from Warwickshire boy.

Only one who's looked like producing a decent ball for Crouch so far is Downing who's at least getting the ball in the danger area. Gerrard has been complete rubbish - kills the width, does a half-baked job of tracking back, hasn't done anything with the ball.

City won in an entertaining match, shame I have to watch this English ***** now:p
Even our strikers scored. Pretty annoyed to have missed it to be honest - still, we're sixth, our GD is on the way up, and I'm getting in my first game of the season on Tuesday when Northwich (roasted 5-0 at Dagenham today) visit. Come on the Reds...

Its nice that we're not the team to beat any more, we can just coast along, except when we play chavworth. That mutton ground is horrific, goes with the locals though.

Anywhoo, trying to work out who I'd rather have in my team, Carrick or Challinor, Rooney or Mackie, JC and JM are winning it by a mile at the moment8-)

FFS, this is poor.

They're all over us, hard to think of anyone having a decent game for us. Lumpard, Rooney, Gerrard especially Carrick all useless. As for Downing, hes not international class, wheres Gareth Barry?

Based on the fact that Downing is the only one who's consistently producing quality balls in the box? Bravo Motson.

Amazing how the average doltish football fans join together to hate a certain player for no good reason. Last moronic fad was to boo Crouch - the guy who's scored hatfuls for England lately.
