yeh he was contracted to them a few years ago, had a season on load at Fulham and thn they bought him...Craig said:Did anybody else see David Bentley's goal in the UEFA Cup? Super effort that.
I see Fulham defender Mortiz Voltz is getting a new contract, I know this doesn't mean anything to the majority in here nor care, but didn't he come from Arsenal a few years back?
Yeah he did. I rate him quite highly actually. He's still fairly yougn too I think, early 20's. He was earmarked for a massive future in Germany IIRC and just never got a chance at Arsenal which was a shame. Might have been better than Clichy. Anyway he's been great for Fulham. Can play a bit in midfield too I think.Craig said:Did anybody else see David Bentley's goal in the UEFA Cup? Super effort that.

yea probably 8 i said 9 since P Neville played right back the other day. If he picks Parker & plays King in the holding position something is wrong.Matteh said:9 defenders?
King will fit in that holding midfield position .
Queens Park Rangers, relegation strugglers in Division 2. (that's the championship for those of you who don't boycott insane league names)Xuhaib said:Where is Zesh Rehman (the only Pakistani to play in EPL) nowdays?
Last year was playing first team football for Fulham, seems his career is going downhill fast.Samuel_Vimes said:Queens Park Rangers, relegation strugglers in Division 2. (that's the championship for those of you who don't boycott insane league names)
Of course, that's mostly due to him not being very good.Xuhaib said:Last year was playing first team football for Fulham, seems his career is going downhill fast.
Zeshan 'Zesh' Rehman (born October 14, 1983 in Birmingham, England)Xuhaib said:Zesh Rehman (the only Pakistani to play in EPL)
Baichung Bhutia IIRC.Matteh said:What about Bahang (probably way off) Buthia (same probably), first properly Indian player to play in the English leagues in years, think it was Bury.
Yep.Barney Rubble said:Baichung Bhutia IIRC.
If that really was Palermo's attitude to the UEFA cup then why start 5 Italian internationals and their two big signings of the summer from Parma in Simplicio and Bresh. I think they care.Cloete said:Palermo cruise past Hammers - PA Sport
"West Ham's disappointing start to the season has continued as they bowed out of the UEFA Cup against Palermo at the Renzo Barbera Stadium 3-0 on the night, 4-0 on aggregate."
