I've seen practically nothing of the boy, but I know he's impressed a lot of folk. £12m is a big albatross to hang around a sixteen year old's neck tho, however gifted a sixteen year old he is.Craig said:

IMO the strangest thing about the Fowler signing is that he's probably better than any of the current Liverpool strikers anyway. Certaininly better than Cisse (who's going to be spending a while in HM's pleasure) and Morientes, perhaps not Crouch.

No, Fowler isn't even as good as those. He's got no pace, he's unbelievably one footed, he's not much of an aerial threat, he needs numerous chances to score and he's a flat track bully - but he's cup tied so he can't even score a hat-trick against a mighty team like Scu.nthorpe.Jungle Jumbo said:
