actually i only takes 2hrs 13 on weekdays but takes longer at the weekend
3hrs 36 atm.

plus if you book on the internet at least 2 weeks in advance it won't cost you sixty squid - probably about 45, iirc last time it was £10 down to london on the Friday and then £30odd back but the 30 odd was a weekend first ticket, which means you get a nice seat and free cup of coffee

Decent first half from us, but absolutely pi$$-weak defending allowing yer Poles back in. Luke Young caught ball-watching.

SWPs removal didnt really meet with the crowds approval, but something needs to be done if england to are emerge from this awful debacle with anything more than a draw.

debacle? how would you explain this match as a debacle? England played well, they had good balance and created a decent amount of chances. Poland had one chance which they took well. It was in no way a debacle and the second goal was very good

I agree Kendall, the performance tonight was about 10 levels above the one on saturday, we could have been 2 or 3 up by half time, i don't know what game Sledger was watching.

Yeah, we did ok. It's a little worrying that such a mediocre team scored with their only meaningful chance, but we did look a better unit that against Austria. Fat Frank took his goal beautifully & Ledley did well in the holding postion.

No Beckham. Coincidence? :p

not a coincidence at all Brumby

was impressed with King, made some good challenges and gave the midfield a more solid look, but Sven ain't gonna drop Gerrard, Lampard or Beckham...plus he's not going to get to play that role for Spurs with Davids and Carrick knocking about.

and the fact that we were much more balanced because no Gerrard and Lampard together, as i have said in the sqaud thread i would be very tempted to leave Gerrard out and play carrick. I dunno about beckham and wright-phillips

Personally i'd make John Terry captain. I'd not drop Beckham but i'd make it abundantly clear to him the he's not going to be playing in the centre and if he doesn't play the role assigned to him, he'll find himself dropped. I wasn't that impressed with SWP tonight, he looks dangerous but didn't create too much considering the amount of ball he had especially in the first half. Rooney seemed to pass too much tonight, when at some points he should have just let one fly, it didn't help that a lot of his passes went astray aswell, but the poles were ****ing themselves when he got he ball.

Rooney looked great tonight running with the ball, but his delivery was pretty poor.

I'd still take Becks as our wide right man; with Lampard at the head, Gerrard on the left & either King or Butt at the tail of a diamond.

I personally prefer a standard 4-4-2, but Sven is always going to plays Becks, Lamps & Stevie G & none of them is a holding player or left-footed. We need someone to do the donkey work. Hope Sven perseveres with Ledley myself.

Not sure why, he did nothing to suggest he's an International class player.

As for all the praise for King - all he did was break up attacks, when he got the ball he was useless, and to play him in a diamond means dropping one of Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham or Cole.

People seem to be againt Joe Cole on the left but i think he does a really good job there and had another good game tonight.
I reconginse that he wont drop Gerrard though, Carrick is a much more acomplished holding midfealder than King aswell.
