4 points is more than likely to be re-couped by any new players you bring in whilst henry is out injured.
Possibly if you're effectively down to 10 men... (still laughing at the CDMs conceding shortly after going 1-0 up btw). If you average 48 points a week then it's roughly break even, as each player averages 4 points (the captain is doubled remember).

& where are you in the table then, Sven Goran Sledger?! :p

There's no guarantee they will. Swap Henry for whoever & spend the extra money next week.

Especially the way he was sent off... Rooney should watch some of The Ashes and observe how proper sportsmen conduct themselves.

Nothing to do with being patriotic, it's just a fact that Sven is a scumbucket.
What was Sven after our 5-1 routing of the Germans in Munich?

I know it was ages ago, but its a bit of a full turn!

agreed, although i doubt it would make any difference, i dont think he could hold his attention that long tbh, considering by alex fergusons own admission "wayne has problems holding his attention for the full 90 minutes" poor simple soul.

If we're having a "put the boot into Wayne" night, I'd like to add that his bird's a munter too.....

& they say chivalry's dead! :p

i worked out the other day that someone like zidane is paid something like 42p a second, which totally shows the sheer stupidity of the whole sport, its not real sport anymore imo, its just overhyped nonsense for the most part.

That was before people knew what Sven was like, your view on KP has hardly remained constant has it?

Still a one-dimensional, uninterested manager - it just so happened the only strategy he knows worked because the German defence were so slow, and he didn't need to do any motivating because it was England-Germany - if you need motivating for that, you shouldn't be playing.

arsenal finish slightly better than i predicted with bergkamp grabbing a late winner, although the fact that it wasnt at all convincing has left me with little hope for any real success in the champions league again this year, ah well at least its a few 100k in the coffers so thats a plus. One less game to play without Henry as well.

surely if you need motivating to play for england at all then you shouldnt be playing, not mentioning any names, but by this criteria gary neville would no longer be in the side after his attempted revolt of the side prior to the turkey game in istanbul a few years back.

I don't see the need to cost yourself 4 points. Wait the one week, can't imagine all 3 of your outfield subs are crocked too.
No, but I'm gambling my second signing (a Chelsea defender) will get more than 4 points this weekend.

Sounds a classic - but also soons un-Rooneylike.

He doesn't strike me as the sort to clap a referee, it's usually a volley of abuse.

Don't get that.. okay player and a right tw*t, to outstanding player and a right tw*t isn't much of a quantum leap?

He's on my avatar as a forfeit, I don't want anyone getting any wrong ideas..
