I wish people would stop harking back to Taylor and Keegan, Keegan was obviously clueless to start with and they both had a fraction of the raw materials Sven has had to work with - and managed to win sweet FA with. With far less talent Sir Bobby's team had a real chance of winning something, something Sven's team has never looked like doing - they go 1-0 up against Portugal in their last proper competition, absolutely dominating them, then Sven decides England should just defend for the rest of the game and England inevitably get knocked out on the glorified coin tossing competition - That's why he's hopeless. We're not going to win nothing with Sven so if we England are going to win nothing at least have a manager that isn't a classless foreign scumbucket.

Greece won euroe 2004 so i wouldnt br making claims like that. The fact is that all the top european teams are pretty poor at the moment and international football is pretty poor at the moment. If Gerrard and Lampard can find a way to play together and maybe someone like downing emrges on the left then why cant they win the wolrd cup?

What is wrong with having a foreighn coach would you say no to Mourinho being the next england manager?

I think sven has clearly made some mistakes but is is not all his fault, he cant be blamed for the fact England still dont have a left sided midfealder i mean he has tried everybody there, he may be partly but not totaly to blame for the fact that at the moment gerrard and lampard cant play together efectivly. As i have said overall i think International football is losing a lot of prestige and i think the door is open for England for real success

to be honest i really think they will, they had a poor side in the last cup and got to the final, with home advantage this time i predict they will get past the group stages at least.

Never discount the huns . They could get to the final with me up front as lone striker. Winning is in their veins, which is unfortunate for us. Germany or Brazil for winners, not much of a revelation i know.

Being foreign is merely a factor against as opposed to something that would disqualify anyone foreign from being England manager. If 2 managers are roughly equal and one is english and the other isn't you'd pick the english one first every time. If the best available manager (by a significant margin) is foreign then you'd probably go with them.
