rio ferdinandes ineptness could cost england the match, not that i really care tbh, but it was only the other day i was moaning about rio before some others on here tried to quash my point.

I do not believe it.

Is Eriksson trying to get sacked or something? First the 4-5-1, then Rooney wide left & he crowns it off with taking off Lampard for that greasy permed Kraut/Yank no-mark. WTF?!?

To put it into some perspective, Northern Ireland are ranked 115 in the world. That's below Gabon, Rwanda & Turkmenistan. Jesus wept. Dunno if it's the worst competitive result we've ever had (losing to the Septics in the 1950 WC probably tops it, but that was 25 years before I was born), but it's up there.... :@

Don't think you were ever quite as bad as 115th in the world tho. Not that they had ranking back then.

But yeah, thanks for your input! :p

That 1st paragraph sums up my feelings completely.

I'd love to have heard Ian Wright in the studio when Shaun got taken off, he did nothing wrong again but I don't think Sven has got the brass ones to pull one of the other big three if they aren't playing well.

I'm looking forward to the headlines tomorrow. Pity I won't see them as I'll crawl out of bed at 10.27am to crack on the cricket for the whole day.

You lost to Scotland at home. Equally poor, so you're not in the position to take the mick!
True up to the comma. Plenty of opportunity for you to take the mick off the Norwegians...particularly our backs (of which we have precisely zero)

Your bloke's header for the second goal had a distinct "Keystone Cops" quality about it. :D

What I think is going to happen is that Scotland's revival under Smith will be used as a stick to beat Sven with: Scotland do better under a Scottish coach ergo England should get a proper, actual English coach. Unfortunately the "little Englander" mentality runs v deep in certain sections of our sporting press.

Right. That's better as they were under Taylor, Hoddle and Keegan?

Yeah. & you'll note that our cricket team has gone to pot since that awful Rhodesian fellow took over too! :D

Which is the sick, sick truth. I hope Sven goes, i really do. I was glad we lost because i know he cannot take this team anywhere now.

Come on sledger, take the spectacles off. Sure Rio went for the offside trap along with the other 3 defenders but your friend Ashley Cole was as much at fault. It was he that "should" have been marking as Carragher tried to point out. None of them stepped up in time.
