So did the 6 or 7 managers before Jewell, but they did bugger all (which is why Whelan sacked them). Like I said when I compared them to the rugby team (who incidentally lost again last night, just to further illustrate my point) - you could have all the money in the world, but you have to spend it wisely for a start and it doesn't get you places on its own.

I can understand you calling rugby union that given where your from and the team you support, yet you have this tune about football yet still post in it's threads?

This is clearly the most interesting thing left in the Premiership this season so who wil get the final champions league spot?

I would still have to say Arsenal, despite their weaknesses being shown this year i still think they have the ability to get on a really good run untill the end of the season. Totehnam have a reasonable chance though and in Mido and Keane have a great front two. I dont think Bolton and Blackburn will quite have enough.

With Mr Roader doing such a great job at newcaslte so far i have hopes of a top 6 finish with owen going on a nice scoring run before the world cup.

As far as them being a major force in the next few years that is probably correct but with the new stadium and with young players coming on i see no reason why they couldnt get 4th next season even without Henry.

where that is certainly true, its more of the financial cost i would worry about if they didnt make 4th spot, as thats a lot of money lost...and with the debts from the emirates stadium to pay for....that could be a problem.
