Actually I was pleased with the refereeing. The players knew that dissent would lead to a card and did not bother him. If only the ref at the chelsea game had done the same...Loony BoB said:Much as a Man U supporter I might be... Wigan dominated that game in a big way - United didn't win it so much as Wigan slipped and lost it.
But seriously, that game would have been so, so, so much better if it weren't for that bloody ref. God.
Everything lead to a bloody card. If refs didn't hand out cards for nothing, perhaps players would realise it doesn't pay to be such ****ing girls.simmy said:Actually I was pleased with the refereeing. cant believe i'm saying this, but Newcastle might well & do well at OT on saturday based on United's current formPothas said:Im pretty encouraged that Newcaslte can get a result at Old Trafford on saturday from what you are all saying. Hopefully will be able to dominate the midfeald
I concur...sledger said:a certain referee will certainly have a real test on his hands 2mo night out in spain, i hope mourinho keeps his jibes to himself, and also i really hope messi comes up with a display that silences him.
Ego fixing.Scaly piscine said:I would think someone would have to be pretty twisted or dense for anyone in this country to want Barcelona to knock Chelsea out. But then again a lot of football fans are somewhat dim anyway and why anyone would want to particularly support one particular group of partly English, mostly foreign mercenaries over another group of partly English, mostly foreign mercenaries is somewhat mystifying.
Umm if Werder Bremen won the first leg 3-2, and Juventus have two away goals, shouldn't they need the one goal at home to go through on away goals?aussie said:some top 2nd legs tommorow, i hope Barcelona beat Chelsea they always winning. Juve & Bremen should interesting seeing as Juve need to win 2-0 to go through & Villareal seemingly the form team in europe in the last couple of weaks should send the rangers packing even the the first leg was close.
But now that Man U are long gone i'm backing AC Milan to win the competition this year..
