They took the final wicket at precisely the same time that scummy Snottingham Florists scored the first of their two scummy goals against Rotherham.

Congratulations to Notts, deserved champions. Hampshire hopefully can take 2nd though and still a very good season with the C&G cup win. I think they should be able to gets glamorgan out tomorow

Well done Notts. Just goes to show the value of Kiwis, last time they won Hadlee was there, and now Fleming has led them to the title. Is this the biggest win of his career?

I wonder what Glamorgan would do without Robert Croft, too. 20 and 87* along with 10-140 against Hampshire.

Gary Pratt's playing for Durham! Yay! My new favourite player. :p

He caught Richard Johnson out, too - but no run outs, and he's yet to showcase his Bradman-esque batting skills.

Judging by the feeble showing of Somerset's batting, he won't have to either.

Gareth Andrew was run out, though, might have been by Pratt.

Well with Collingwood on the pitch as well, it would take a player like Gareth Andrew to start going for quick singles.

Andrew's most spectacular performances come with the ball, though - there is no batting lineup he isn't capable of conceding ten on over to.

Always think positive, eh?

Vasbert has a wicket. :D

Good to see Durham have stopped opening with Gavin Hamilton, I hope they didn't pay any money to bring Hamilton to the Riverside as he's been utterly useless so far.

Durham are almost halfway there after 12 overs - it's hard to think positive in that situation!

Ah well, at least we've got Derbyshire at home next week. :p

Stop trying to jinx Durham, they're wobbly enough as it is when they're batting.

I must say Pratt has much better List A figures than I thought he'd have, averaging 30+ is pretty decent considering half the time he'll be playing at Durham. Maybe he could get his dream and make the 2007 World Cup squad after all...

You cursed him, he just got out for 29.

Personally, I think the shine would be taken off his actions this summer if he went on to actually play for England - the chances of him being a big success for England are slim, after all, and I'd rather he be remembered as "the sub fielder who ran out the Australian captain when we won the Ashes" as opposed to "some guy who played a few games for England but wasn't very good, who also happened to run someone out in a Test match one time".

It would just take away the fairytale nature of the whole story if he did go on to play for England.
