Murali mk2 continues his excellent debut, another 4 today (4-28) with the prospect of more tommorow, Essex in trouble really 61 ahead with 4 wickets left.

even considering 9 wickets and the fact he's outbowled Kaneria, you still can't please some Lancs fans, who've been moaning about his performance

I eat my words about it being ominous because Danish would turn it square, i think you have us beat.

good win for the Lancs today, very impressed with Kathiks debut. But if the season is anything to go by Lancashire's next game will be a poor showing that seems to be the way they are playing this season, but hopefully they can change with the season coming to and end.

Durham virtually certain of a double promotion... nicely timed with just the 2 teams being relegated from next season.

I really cant believe that Warne will be playing tomorow at sophia gardens but it really shows what comitment he has to the side and aslong as he plays the 2 remaining championship games il be happy

Interesting CC game on sky right now, Kent vs Notts - Swann took 3 wickets before tea, Chris read just dropped a sitter ( Gojo probably smiling in the stands) and Kent's Neil Dexter who is a 21year old from Johannesberg is 33*

Kinda pointless, though, since 12 points wins Notts the Championship - once they get five wickets today they've won it

much more likely that cross will be given his chance to show that he's worth the place next season.

Bit of stress release for Warnie at Sophia Gardens:

SK Warne* c Davies b Croft 24 (15), 1x4, 3x6.

If he decides to turn his arm over Glamorgan could be in trouble, Cosker and Croft took 9 between them in Hampshire's innings

I thought Glamorgan's batting line-up was perfectly capable of getting out below 200 regardless of who's bowling from the other end anyway?

I wouls expect Hampshire to be able to win the game with the 2 days, its probably mainly down to the spinners because the pace atack is a bit light this match

I think it's Logan and Bruce with the new ball - if I was them I'd just play two extra batsmen and tell Warnie to bowl seam-up with the new ball, I'm sure he'd be better than both of them.
