Aye. Biggest score he'll ever make by several lanes of the aforementioned major road..

Note another big score from Ed Joyce and, maybe more tellingly, more impressive breakthroughs on the part of Alan Richardson - 41 wickets @ 20.58 this season and, more importantly, he looked pretty smart on Sky Sports last week - reasonable lick, and consistent inward-movement. Pretty Chris Martin-like.

That's a shame for Derbyshire, the second time in a month they've run somebody close only to just lose out. I'd say Murali was the difference in the match, with bat and ball.

Interesting, Somerset beat Australia then lose to Scotland...
Jayasuriya gets a hundred against the best attack in the world and then cops a second-baller against the weakest team in the league...

ergo Jayasuriya is complacent and Smith can't do it without him??????

Yet released by Warwickhire last summer for some reason.

Can't fathom why Kent didn't declare when 200 on.
Doesn't seem a bad call at the momment - 2 down at stumps and a full day to get the remaining 8 wickets.

And by getting over a 300 run lead, I'll be suprised if we will need to bat again and even if we do if should only be a handfull of runs, whereas if we called time on 200 even defending you can knock that off by tea, hence a greater chance of drawing the game.

With Chapple at 6 it's not that good.
most Lancs fans think we should be playing a sixth batsman, there are a few very promising ones that seem to get little chance, but i was meaning the 3,4,5 combo of Loye, Hodge, Law which has yet to do much at all this year.

:0) Scotland doing ok for themselves now just as they are about to get chucked out
I believe it's something of their own wish, too? Must be hard on the amateurs, travelling up and down the country...

I can't see how it was an upset. They might not be much good, but they are an international side, and Worcestershire aren't exactly the best FC team in the world.
Most county second teams would fancy their chances against Bangladesh.. Im tempted to say some very good academy sides would give them a game.. They aren't even county standard, therefore Worcestershire, with Shoaib Akhtar, Ray Price and De Bruyn (?) should have mauled them..

It's fair to say all county sides would last 40 overs against England..

well i think a 6th batsmen is the right choice but our much vaunted top order has not fired collectively nor consistently at all this season, if it continues they might be considering that

I didn't realise there were that many overs left at the declaration to be honest.

Still, I think giving themselves longer to bowl us out might have made more sense - Frost is yet to bat ;)

Can't help thinking the loss of Streak made a difference.
