On the relevant news front though, massive upset on the cards at New Road.. How Bangladesh can beat a full strength Worcestershire side is beyond me..
Normal service resumed at Trent Bridge, Sajjid Mahmood going for 21 off one over
I can't see how it was an upset. They might not be much good, but they are an international side, and Worcestershire aren't exactly the best FC team in the world.

Following up on that other post I made in here which got an overwhelming reception...*hay bail floats past* ... so I thought I would just post up the schedule for the Victorian Young Players team that is over in the mother country at the moment, and if they're playing near you, please head down and have a look and report back, who do you like, and who's rubbish??

Tour Schedule

They're heading all over England, so have a squizz please, and if you've got spare time head down and watch it...for me??

Hmmm, I was going alright til those last two words.

Aren't they a bit heavy to float?
Awww, I mean like those things you see in the Western parodies, when no-one is in town and that little bit of hay...or is it tumbleweed??...is blown by the wind down the main street, indicating that no-one is around, it's deserted, or something like that...

I'll let you off with that. :p

...and I would go watch the young Vics, but it appears they don't come up Lancashire way

Twenty20 Cup kicks off in a week (June 22), I'm hoping the slightly weird format (6 teams, 8 games each) in the groups works out OK. I'm also hopeful that Durham can make it past the group stage for a change and hopefully they won't produce absolutely dire pitches this season.

Watching Kent v Warwickshire seems alot like England v Australia the other day :D

Lets see if the ECB have the guts to dock points at a Test venue, mine you it could just be great bowling :D

(Iam starting to really fed up with this Frost feller now, can he only score runs against Kent or something!)

went to see hampshire and surrey at the rose bowl today, not a great deal to see due to play being held off by rain untill around 2. Saw ervine and Tremlett finish of the surrey tail without much resistance.

Hants started well with Benham and Adams but a quick look at the score card now will let you know what a horrible and embarressing collapse followed via the bowling of harb singh.

another appaling display by the Lancs top order rescued again by Cork and the unlikely Murali to at least get a lead an 1 batting point, 10 short of the 250 with one wicket left

Poor display by the Warwickshire bowlers, Kent are already 20 ahead with 7 wickets left. An innings defeat looking fairly likely there.

Anybody see the wickets on Sky Sports News?

Key getting out to Bell in very much standard Key fashion - sticking the front pad out and across, trying to play around it, missing and getting trapped LBW. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be picking this up now.

Yep, i saw an interview with him just a few weeks ago where the interviewer mentioned his getting out to part time medium pacers alot etc, and Key made a point of saying how he knew about it and had worked hard to sort out his concentration. I guess not though :)

Lancs looking like they might scrape home against the wipping boys Derbyshire, Murali took 6 earlier and we're 57-2 with 79 more needed.

Surrey smashed Hamps earlier and Kent look firmly on top against the champs. Pathan continues to struggle for Middx, 5-1-36 to add to his wicketless first innings means 5 wickets at 64.8 so far.

In the second division Durham look on top again and Chris Broad son took 4 for Leics

They must be playing on a newly-laid strip of the M1 at Southgate, first innings scores of over 1000 and only 7 wickets lost.

Who's that Cherry guy who's got a double ton for Glamorgan? Don't think I've ever heard anything of him as the name doesn't sound familiar.
