I support Zimbabwe. That's why I support Derbyshire, I like the underdogs.

Who will replace him? I'm guessing Di Venuto or Welch as Captain (probably Di Venuto) and a II XI county keeper.
Might be Lee Goddard.

I think it's high time Derbyshire acquired another Dane. :p

Hampshire really have too fight tomorow starting with their customary 20 odd for 2 position just have too desperatly fight for a draw out of this game

Good day for hampshire with Watson getting 88 and Pothas another century with exactly 100 not out. I was slightly suprised they declared and in doing so sacraficed an extra bonus point. But surrey really have to win so i suppose they might set hampshire a target that could be got but a draw still seems very likely

The Baconator

Looking like a draw at Edgbaston, but if Ntini or someone grabs some early wickets, a result could definitely be on. Great knock by Trotty to get 210 as well.

I probably watched you do it - were you in the section of the crowd where the Elvises were? I watched Stumpy rather than the cricket for about 5 minutes while he was entertaining everyone and Somerset's batsmen were doing exactly the opposite.

In that case I didn't see you. He seemed like quite a laugh though. Good game, too - great first spell by your buddy Robert Woodman. 7-2-19-0 I think.

How's Marshall doing? Any wickets for him? He can't be too happy batting at no10, isn't he a batting all-rounder?
well when Marshall plays league cricket he plays as a batting all-rounder but he cant bat in front of Cork, Chapple & co

yeah im really surprised that they collapsed, its usually a complete road - we'll take the win though, especially since Essex lost and Durham and Yorkshi*e drew, it sets us up well, if we take the last wicket of course
