Bangladesh not exactly playing the spin with much confidence either, pretty poor pitch all things considered.
TBH I'm surprised the commentators didn't give Sussex more criticism for the wicket. Aside from the excessive turn and lack of pace, it was explained that it was a used practice wicket that had been cut for an abandoned Pro40 game. So basically they couldn't be bothered cutting a new wicket.

Anyway, Bangladesh scrape home in a near-farce, the end of the game pretty much consisting of their tailenders getting away with suicide singles. Danny Briggs looks a decent talent with the ball (SLA), Northeast was a class act earlier in the day...the fielding was woeful compared to Bangladesh's though.

Don't really think you should be picking your Test team based on outfielding TBH.
I would never suggest a team should be selected based on outfielding so no idea where that came from. I made a sarcastic and jokey comparison between arguably the best fielder in England in terms of speed and athleticism and Bob Key. How that can be interpreted into picking the best outfielders for the Test team, I think only you know.

Friends Prov final today, Hants v Sussex - or Pothas v Zaremba if you prefer. I suppose until recently Hampshire may have thought that Kevin Pietersen would be playing for them today. I assume Sussex will have Prior back.

A couple of early wickets to Cork. I'm still optimistic, we have a batting line-up as long as Nic Pothas' nose.

Warne - "Mascarenhas steaming in at 74mph this morning - he must be pumped up"

Three wickets for Cork.

That one looked stone dead but Hawkeye has it going over the top.

Disappointed for Nash, I had a feeling he might get a big one today.

Really wanted to see Joyce score a big one today. Will have to settle for a Murray Goodwin masterclass.

Edit : Run Out for 1. 43/4

Captain's innings needed, otherwise this is going to be like one of those awful September finals - win toss, win match. The difference here being that Sussex won the toss.
