Mustard is a wicket-keeper, has been pretty effective since he switched to opening in limited over stuff end of last season - averaging a little above 40 at a mid 80s strike rate in ODs and just under 40 at a strike rate of 155.55 in Twenty20.

Imagine in the future if they were to play Namibia.

Prior may be number one at the moment but other keeps are certainly knocking at the door very hard. Read, Foster, Pothas, Ambrose, Nixon all in great form this season. Great for English cricket..

Certainly good competition, but I can't help but feel it's a bad thing for English cricket to have so many good keepers knocking on the door, surely the selectors will muck up soon and replace Prior if he has a couple of bad Tests. I mean, they need to stick with one guy for a decent length of time, something I can't see happening if there are several other keepers performing for their counties.

Haha, anyone seen the Nottinghamshire attack against Gloucestershire. Because of the injuries to Shreck and Franks and the unavailability of Sidebottom their bowling attack comprimises of Simon Francis, Kyle Hogg, Mark Ealham, Rob Ferley and Graeme Swann. Swann and Ealham are good bowlers but the other three are pretty rubbish tbh.

I cannot believe that Wiseman is now an Englishman, Kolpaks are so wrong.

Anyway...... Worcestershire will go down as our bolwing is not good enough and Bollinger cant get into NSW 1st xi and we have him as an Overseas. Apart from Kabir and Batty when cannot bowl sides out twice.

Ambrose has had a great season

Since when? First bowler picked when fit these days. Not the worst either - good first class bowler whose record early on was indictative of a string of injuries and a stop-start career.

Simon Francis isn't that crap!!

Kent taking things nice and seriously against Sri Lanka... five List A debuts, Min Patel and Geraint Jones playing as specialist batsmen, and Martin van Jaarsveld the pick of the bowling attack.

SL, incidentally, are 225/7...

You would have thought that their batsmen might want a bit of time in the middle given that they've only played Twenty20 for the last month.
