Phil Mustard to be great imo.
You heard it here first.

It'd be great for headline writers, commentators and general punsters everywhere if Mustard and Onions were to open the bowling for England...Phil Mustard to be great imo.

Thought he was a bowlerMustard is a wicket-keeper, has been pretty effective since he switched to opening in limited over stuff end of last season - averaging a little above 40 at a mid 80s strike rate in ODs and just under 40 at a strike rate of 155.55 in Twenty20.
Indeed, that would be tres amusing.Thought he was a bowler
Imagine in the future if they were to play Namibia.
Burger ct. Mustard b. Onions.
Yeah that's basically all I have to contribute. Bad jokes.
Certainly good competition, but I can't help but feel it's a bad thing for English cricket to have so many good keepers knocking on the door, surely the selectors will muck up soon and replace Prior if he has a couple of bad Tests. I mean, they need to stick with one guy for a decent length of time, something I can't see happening if there are several other keepers performing for their counties.Prior may be number one at the moment but other keeps are certainly knocking at the door very hard. Read, Foster, Pothas, Ambrose, Nixon all in great form this season. Great for English cricket..
Our batting is pretty crappy without Di Venuto and Collingwood, most of them are just cannon fodder to someone like Mushtaq Ahmed.Haha at Durham.
Bowling can't be too flash either, not when Paul Wiseman picks up four wicketsOur batting is pretty crappy without Di Venuto and Collingwood, most of them are just cannon fodder to someone like Mushtaq Ahmed.
Since when? First bowler picked when fit these days. Not the worst either - good first class bowler whose record early on was indictative of a string of injuries and a stop-start career.chris.hinton said:Bollinger cant get into NSW 1st
Simon Francis isn't that crap!!Haha, anyone seen the Nottinghamshire attack against Gloucestershire. Because of the injuries to Shreck and Franks and the unavailability of Sidebottom their bowling attack comprimises of Simon Francis, Kyle Hogg, Mark Ealham, Rob Ferley and Graeme Swann. Swann and Ealham are good bowlers but the other three are pretty rubbish tbh.
