I think you've a problem Dave, in that Warne is missing the next game (as he missed this last one and made a comment about it not being as big a deal IIRC) but will be back for the last.

I can score runs against non-International opposition?
you may say that, but its in the domestic game that you have to perform for the selectors to consider you. Not that i want him in the squad BTW.

Hampshire(22pts behind) and Warks (24points) are not out of it yet but Sussex should probably be favourites, and Lancs have big injury problems now(Law has back trouble and Cork and Chapple were injured again today).
Not good at all, hopefully they can get fit soon, BIG 3 games left.

No it isn't.. Trescothick and Vaughan never had great domestic records when they were promoted to the England team.. Prior should never be let near the side so I agree with you on that one

Grest result for Notts yesterday, and if he's not scoring runs, he's taking wickets. Samit Patel with 2-47, which made me happy:sleep:

AFAIK he's been given dispensation to get back for the Sussex game

Oh right - I remember he had permission for one game, but thought he was going to miss 2 CC games - obviously he missed the weekend :D

I wasnt to optimistic when Notts fell to 61-3, But fantastic centuries from Steven Fleming and Dave Hussey just about saved our Bacon. David hussey surpassing the 150 mark with decent support from Samit Patel and Mark Ealham late in the day

Durham doing their usual falling away job, get Warwicks 215-8 then get slogged around by two Saffies, ends up being 314 all out and Durham are 53-3.

Lancashire have completed signing of Kartik, and cricinfo suggests that he could play in the C&G final on Saturday. I would prefer to see Marshall and Keedy personally, they got us there so they should win it for us.

Definately, tbh don't know how come they signed him with Keedy and Marshall doing so well, if they were going for him it should have been earlier.

if lancashire play Katrick instead of the two english spinners on saturday that is a disgrace

I Hate the C and G format

Did you see the Worcester game on Tuesday, Matt Mason is a fine bowler get him into the English one day squad ..... oh its too late

Did you know that Yorkshire became the first side in over 50 years to play two english born Leg Spinners Adil Rashid and Mark Lawson

He's alright, don't think he's really ODI material. He was getting slapped about quite a bit before he had a bit of luck with the c&b, which was well taken tbh.

Maybe if Durham took that attitude they wouldn't be thrashed each game.
Durham v Warwickshire at Chester-le-Street - Aug 22-25, 2006
Durham won by 7 wickets
Warwickshire 314 and 164; Durham 284 and 196/3

We (Nottinghamshire) didnt need that, but Im content with making the Kents follow on, Sidebottom takes 4fer as Kent are dismissed for 251, a full 245 runs behind our total.
