I think many would agree with that (me included) but Bond gives the Gloucestershire bowling attack something it lacks which is a genuine fast pace. Kirby being the only bowler we have who comes near.

As I type Glos are now 2/2 and looking a bit shoddy.

yes but i reckon Harvey brings some extra batting to Glous

He's a better batsman than some folks would have you believe. But he's batting 2 places too low at 6 for Surrey, not least for his own development. No way should Brown be ahead of him in the order nowadays, and Batty can revert to 7 now that Butcher is back.
