*Official* English Domestic Season (2004)

He may want to move south somewhere but if a midland / northern club offered a package that was just way more than any southern club he'd go there... by the interest going around he must be one of the most highly sort after players of recent times. At least pubically anyway. I guess people think he'll become an england player for sure but not at the very moment so they can get the most out of him for the next few years before that happens.

Peter Martin retires at the age of 35.

Fair enough
Damn Damn Damn... He was one of my favourite county stalwarts.. Loved watching him bowl, he used to go on forever, and seemed a top bloke too.. Shame, but 35 is getting on.. Will miss watching him play anyway..

Apparently Pietersen is destined for Hampshire, definitely a good reason to see some more twenty20 at the rose bowl me thinks!! Story here

He will pay us in runs, lots of runs...
If he doesn't fall out with the rest of the team and get his kit chucked off the balcony by the skipper. But, I do agree that he will be a good signing and would like to have him in my side anyday. If he can improve his spin it would be a further asset on the dusty rose bowl pitch.

Where he will link up with Corky...
Interesting signing indeed.

Could this cause a heated dressing room if these haven't put their differences aside after what happened last time around.Unless they shoke hands and agreed to play as a team on the pitch, but off field they don't want to speak to each other?
