Also does anyone know what the highest first innings score to lose a match is? Essex scored 642 and lost today :) unlucky Halsey

I spent most of the afternoon flicking between coding and trying to find that out.

No luck on that front, I'm afraid...

Yep, trying to figure out just how we did that still.

And Marc, Robert Croft is a decent spinner, too.

Worcs need a complete rebuild job for my money...both Openers arent good enough and we need another Middle Order batsmen..we also need to keep Bichel but drop Hall and get a proper Overseas bowler and possible another fast bowler too.

You are right Space Monkey

Peters has not Shown enough, Moore was ok at the start of the season but form as dipped

I would like to see two openers, Hopefully next year Kadeer Ali could do that job

I would Keep Bichel and i agree hall has not done it

2005 Season

Opener(?)
Kadeer Ali
Solanki (Capt)
Hick
Smith
Davies (Wkt)
Bichel
Batty
Overseas Player
Kabir Ali
Price

With Mason,Pipe,Moore and Peters and Khalid in Reserve. we should give Will Gifford a Pro contract also Darly Mitchell and Dave Wigley could be blooded more.

Considering the success of Matthew Mason this summer, would it not make more sense to look towards an opening batsman as an overseas player?

HAHA that Funny neil hey Solanki has not done bad as he????
Not bad, but not good either... and the real problem of the daft shot selection hasn't gone away either, it seems (why play a big expansive hook/pull at 22-1 in the fourth over?!)

Masons done brilliently for the last 2 years now althoigh he's suffered a little with injury this year. You could use that 2nd overseas player for an opening batsmen. But with this new Kolpak ruling its gonna make little difference anyway!

All i do know is that Tom Moody will sort it out as he has been outstanding for us since he took over, and i still think he'll become England coach when Fletcher moves on.
