I notice that Australians are dominating the County scene... First Class cricket in the UK, really is a few rungs below Australia.

Yeah, he's struggled apparently. I don't rate him, anyway... He's a bit of a media darling, but he's yet to dominate a season. Shane Watson is a far ore accomplished batsman - and he can bowl.

He has been a disappointment.

MJ Clarke for Hampshire:

First Class
12 matches, 20 innings
709 runs
HS 140
Average: 35.45
3x100 2x50

His first class average actually went DOWN in England.

Averaged 28.50 (SR: 78.29) in the National League...

Remember theres 18 english teams to what...6 australian?
So if we compacted the English talent into 6 teams instead of spreading it across 18 im sure you'd find it would be alot closer if not matching the Australian Domestic scene.

Jnr.

First Class Debutant
Of course. That there are only 6 teams makes it harder for cricketers to get into the domestic scene, as they have to be very very good to make the cut.

But for 3 late tons it would've plummeted!

Everybody now...we've got the title, almost, in the bag. We've got the title, almost, in the bag. We've got the title, almost, in the bag and we've done it at Edgbaston.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Even better, at New Road!
