*Official* English Domestic Season (2004)

Scotland made a good fist of their Totesport League game against Somerset. Set 254 to win, we were all out for 246. It's an encouraging performance from the lads and hopefully we can keep on improving to book our place in the Totesport League after the review in 2005.

I hope so...else Ireland are good bets to take Scotlands place.

Gloucestershire. Still the one-day kings, I reckon it's 60-40 in the Gladiators' favour.

Worcester will need two out of Hick, Smith and Solanki to really fire and then get Pietersen early - do that and they should win.

Has Kevin Pietersen suddenly swapped counties? Don't you mean Spearmen or Hussey? Or even your darling Gidman?

Ooops. I meant Spearman. Gidman bats at six, get him early and they're five down for next to nothing and you're definitely gonna win!

hehehe. I'm absolutely disgusted at hussey btw. He left Northants saying he wanted a rest from CC for a season or two. He then comes back to Gloucs(!) after less than a season. Hussey was a brilliant player for us and would be welcomed back with open arms, that is until he signed for Gloucs. Still, if he was to comeback to captain us next season, I wouldn't complain!

International Captain
We have had Injury Worries, Kabir, Bichel and Mason are doubtful So Naddem Malik and David Leatherdale will come in in any case

On the Plus Side we beat Warwick to get here :)

I've read that Bichel might be played as a specialist batsman. That's a worry. Mason's chances of playing are slim, and Kabir's less so even.

What a performance from Wharf today!

5-3-5-6

Then Kent win it with a last ball 6 as the 10th pair hit 15 in the over!
