Adamc said:This just in: Paul Collingwood ran into a post and broke his nose.
Steve Harmison doing his back flying from one Bangladesh airport to another (airline meals were heavy), Fred Titmus losing his toes water-skiing, the list is endless.Swervy said:what is it with England players...broken nose playing basketball, knackered ankle playing squash(Anderson??),some almost drowning in Sri lanka,Butcher injuring himself doing nothing but picking a ball up...and the best Derek Pringle years ago do in his back writing a letter

Rest of the article is here.Of the 119 one-day internationals scheduled in the Caribbean, only eight have been abandoned - three of them in the last five days.
That crisis was at its worst in Pakistan, where even the fringe players were getting injured!Sounds very similar to the NZ injury nightmare in S.A 3 or 4 years ago when players were dropping out of the squad due to injuries playing frisbee, soccer etc.
The irony really is that it's blazing hot in Trinidad now. It's been so since Monday. It seems the rain is just following the cricket. The other bit of irony is that Guyana may be the only match that is not rained out and Guyana is traditionally the rainiest of venues. In fact, a Test against Bangladesh was rescheduled for Jamaica instead of Guyana for this reason.SpaceMonkey said:There was a news post on the BBC website that summed it all up to be honest.
