Boing boing Tresco hits Rampaul for a maximum.

Has he hit form or has luck going for him?
not really....hes finally come across a nice flat pitch for him to play those flashy glued feet shots on without having them going to the slips

Or they're bowling loosely and he's punishing. Give it up.

Collingwood is the perfect foil for Trescothick now.

Nurdle those singles. :)

Neil can confirm that I wrote that before the commentators said exactly the same words. :cool2:

The West Indian bowlers haven't be amazing this morning, but Trescothick's runs have really been due to his initiative to play a shot-a-ball.

Whatever he's doing, he's doing it better than his mates are doing it, so unless you think he's so lucky as to "get all the easy balls", he's doing something right. 75 off 59 can't be dismissed as complete luck.

Glued feet shots would suggest he's not coming down the pitch, which Cricinfo suggests he is.

Has there been a dramatic change in the bowling or is Collingwood just not finding the gaps?
Give him a break, he's only been out there for 12 balls!

im not surprised that trescothick is doing pretty well in these ODIs, he is a very good ODI player. but send him in on a pitch with a little movement and he really does have problems.
