***Official*** England in Sri Lanka 2012

I think that's why the talk of Monty usurping Swann in the team won't happen. His fielding will never be good enough.

Donkey's had his series against a team that plays him particularly badly, so he's back to Bopara-worthlessness now. Get rid. Doesn't make sense to have him with the guys he's keeping out of the team, who can actually ****ing field and bat to some sort of degree.

Mahela has far superior watchability than Sanga because he plays spin well, and Aravinda (because of lesser slogs). But he has very tough competition from Atapattu and Wettamuni if it comes to esthetics.
Can't comment about Wettamuni, but Atapattu was a touch too slow for my liking - had a silken touch no doubt.

Turning into a pretty ****ty day tbh. Though it does look like Sri Lanka are about 100 short of par at present.

This must be fairly high up the list of greatest percentage of runs by one batsman. Welegedara is not helping this as I speak.

Is there a player who's a bigger passenger than Donkey when they're not bowling? Chris Martin is merely a crap fielder not a comedic one, so I think Donkey trumps him.

If Monty hasn't learnt how to catch by now, it's never going to happen.
It makes you wonder wtf has been going on at Panesar's counties for the last 10 years or so. No professional cricketer should field that badly.

Massive missed opportunity today, not helped by wasting both reviews in the first session.

Jayawardene! 166! A real test cricketer! If he continues, he will be like Tendulkar! Albeit some time away still Jaya. England are no mug with the ball btw.

SL are at a run rate of 3.25.

Jaya's average in tests in 50.43. Tendulkar's is 50.44.
