SL in dire straits
Can you reconcile these consecutive posts for us please mate?191/7
is the wicket good for batting?
tasting it?Jayawardene doing a similar number on England here to what Mark Liddell did to our A grade side yesterday in the GF.
Can't disagree with you.People have said this about Aravinda, people quite often say this about Sangakkara, but I personally find Mahela Jayawardene the most aesthetically pleasing among SL batsmen. And the guy is a very good captain..
Personally I'd go for de Silva but Mahela is a fine player to watch.People have said this about Aravinda, people quite often say this about Sangakkara, but I personally find Mahela Jayawardene the most aesthetically pleasing among SL batsmen. And the guy is a very good captain..
Nah ****, retired from that grade two years ago.tasting it?
You haven't finished batting yet though...This pitch seems a little spunky but we're certainly 100 short here.
But this is not herath normal. So inspirational he's even capable of getting Herath to bat normally.
herath normal is slog sweep every second ball so yeah that's kind of what i meantBut this is not herath normal.
Mahela has far superior watchability than Sanga because he plays spin well, and Aravinda (because of lesser slogs). But he has very tough competition from Atapattu and Wettamuni if it comes to esthetics.People have said this about Aravinda, people quite often say this about Sangakkara, but I personally find Mahela Jayawardene the most aesthetically pleasing among SL batsmen. And the guy is a very good captain..
