*Official* England in South Africa Thread

49.1 Boje to Key, no run, played to backward point, confusion between
the bvatmen
Classic Cricinfo typos lately... bvatmen... is that like batmen? Is there MORE than one Batman? Strauss or Key - who would make the better Batman?

Can't say I'm an English fan in general, but I do love to watch them play. South Africa are my second fave team, but Strauss is probably one of my favourite batsmen in the world, quite easily. Looking forward to his 100 (he better get it!) and his 1159th run (he better get that too!).

That'd be...102? Fairly small odds of both those happening at the same time...

So long as he passes 102 at some point, I'll be happy. :p

EDIT: Yay :D
EDIT: Wait, he's one run short. Needs 104!

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
This is what I was afraid of after South Africa failed to get more than a wicket in the first session. The wicket eased out and the field placings werent exactly intellegent by Smith.

Strauss, the class that he is, seized the initiative. Key fed off him and even though he did offer a chance, did good to hang in there.

Wonderful strokes by Strauss were the feature of the session.
