i know but i'd never seen him play like that before, previously he always seemed like one of those englishmen that were only kept in the team because they were labelled 'the next botham' but seemed almost mediocre(in test matches anyway), then that summer he was a completely different player - smarter as you mentioned, just a question of whether he can keep being that consistent
People who have limited success or are "one summer wonders" are usually so because for a period of time, everything was going right for them, but they didn't understand their own game. Therefore when they are found out or lose form, they don't know how to get back to the top again.

Players like Flintoff have all the talent in the world and he doesn't have a half bad technique, either. It's up to him to approach the game as intelligently as possible to be a continued success. I think he fairly well knows his own game, which is why I think he will continue to be a big player for England.

Damn... that joke fizzled eh? lol
It's quite hard to get me laughing about the quota system (which could actually count against me getting a flying job in SA, even if I did qualify)

Kallis and Pollock are trying their best to take this game beyond England's grasp, with a good partnership !!

Still the lead is only about 50 runs . But if they end up with a lead of approx 100 or more, in a low scoring game, it may well be beyond's England's reach !!

You're an enthusiastic so-and-so, aren't you? :) I'm not complaining though; at the moment you're as valuable as a little gas heater in Siberia.

Sheesh, this is horrible...
