Dunno why Flintoff is going into his 7th over, he shouldn't be bowling spells that long especially in those conditions.

Advantage England now definitely, England will have to bat like peons to get less than 400
That's what I thought until I read that the average total at PE in recent years is about 267. Add the fact that most of our batters are in no sort of form, and you can see us struggling.

If ever there was a pitch to get some form on then this is it. You could also say that most of the batters aren't in any bad form as well.

Okay, maybe failure is a better word than loser :p

Really, I'm not saying he isn't one of the all round top players in the world, I'm just comenting on the fact that he never seems to win anything...
umm, i seem to remember that masters where he beat federer and roddick to win the tournament?
i believe henman has one of the best records against federer amongst the current players.
and i apologize for going way off topic

but it wasn't. He lost again...
yes i know but if it hadnt rained he would have won that game against federer. 2 sets to 1 up and leading 4-2 in the final set before the rain came down. the next day he lost all the momentum and we all know how much rubbish he throws up when things are not going right.
he was at his best during that tournament though, now i fear its too late.

Nah thats wrong he was 2 sets to one up against IVANISEVIC not Federer. He was 2-1 in the fourth when bad light stopped play. Next day Ivanisevic won the 4th on a tie break and was 3-2 up in the fifth when rain intervened. Next day Ivanisevic won four games to take it 6-3.

Henman beat Federer in the QF

:p

that was a slip of the tongue, i was going to talk about federer in one of the other posts and actually mentioned it here. nonetheless it did seem as though ivanisevic couldnt lose that wimbledon, everything just came together for him.

England on top, but Rudolph played very well, and having watched him today, I think Dippenaar should have a higher Test average than he does - I thought he was fantastic today.

He was let off once, dropped once and edged a lot? I was unimpressed, but then again I didn't watch :)

There was one very very close LBW, but in fairness replays said he wasn't out (hit him JUST outside the line).

He edged a few times, but in an innings where you play the majority of the day, you can expect that. I thought overall he played very solidly, and played some good shots too.

You can't stop destiny. Wimbledon 2001 was Goran's grand slam from the moment he played his first match.

Ah yes, you acknowledged it. Very true. If I ever wanted an example of what destiny was, I'd use Goran at Wimbledon.
