Sounds like a great session, and I'd have settled for Smith & Kallis failing to make a run between them. :D
Given that our bowlers still aren't close to firing on all cyclinders, we have to be pleased with the lunchtime score. I wonder if Jones will get the old ball to swing this afternoon.

Erm, how does he get to being one of the all round top players in the world by being a loser?
Okay, maybe failure is a better word than loser :p

Really, I'm not saying he isn't one of the all round top players in the world, I'm just comenting on the fact that he never seems to win anything...

Atherton needs to find new employers now that Channel 4 is for the chop.
I wish he'd tittle off to satellite, let all the rich toffs suffer him since he's an old boy network crony...

I love the way cricinfo completely fails to mention a plumb lbw not being given, that's after they say edges that go through 3rd/4th slip are a 'great shot for 4'

Fantastic fight back, considering their two top players got a grand total of 0 between them.

if you mean the LBW shout off Jones, it hit the batsman outside the line of off stump, therefore it was not out.
I haven't seen it obviously, but I doubt every single commentator got it wrong for something simple like whether the ball hit in line with the stumps.

Ah thats commentators for you, i doubt every single commentator on Sky got it wrong as they all said it was close but it hit him ouside the line. Given that hawkeye said that it was hitting the outside of off stump and it was angling in, it wa not out.

Anyway its got exciting again, Giles hit the stumps but the bails didnt come off. Rudolph gloved a Flintoff delivery to the keeper but was given not out, but edges behind next ball anway. Good bowling from Freddie

total misjudgement from de bruyn but freddie deserved it
I am getting jitters now whenever any one is leaving the ball. Totally stupid mijudgement of the ball there.

And why bowl Giles to tie one end up right now when one wicket could make a huge difference right now?
