And you are forgetting quite a few things too
1. The test India won @ Mohali had players like Iqbal Siddiqui, Deep dasgupta, SS Das, Bangar and Tinu Yohanan
firstly ss das and ddg were both test match regulars then. and DDG is at least as good as any other keeper you've had since nayan mongia in terms of batting. infact he was probably better than nayan mongia with the bat.
secondly the england side had a bowling attack of matthew hoggard, james ormond, richard dawson and craig white, and really only craig white was a regular back then(and even he was suffering from injuries). not to mention that the side had james foster, mark ramprakash and a graham thorpe suffering with all sorts of mental problems in it.

2. And the 5/67 you are showing us had great batsmen like Kumble, Harbhajan, Srinath & Dasgupta
point is that he did is job, 5/67 on that pitch regardless of which batsmen he got out is a very good job. and just so you know, about half the other wickets that fell had to do with giles holding up the other end and blocking the scoring.

3. in the 4th innings Giles bowled for 31 overs and went for 57 runs, if you aren't going to get wickets in 31 overs, then you aren't going to get one.
4. After the 1st innings in the 2nd test, India had figured out Hussain/Giles plan and since then Giles went for 1/131.
probably not, but again as i said earlier his job was to contain, and there were plenty of times that the pressure he put on one end got the player out at the other end,

5. It's laughable to suggest that England were going to win the 3rd test when only 2 innings were complete, Kumble hadn't even bowled a ball in the Eng second inning and Bhajji had bowled 1 ball.
wow, so indias 3 spinners barely bowled a ball the second innings, in conditions that didnt assist the spinners one bit. surely that would have made the difference. england were strong favorites from the moment ganguly decided to go in with 1 frontline pace bowler when the ball was swinging around and with a lead of about 130 runs, into the 2nd innings, i'd say that england should have won that game.

6. Oh and SRT scored 103, 26 and 90 - i dont know how the plan worked
nope it didnt work on SRT until when he famously threw his wicket away in bangalore. but when did i say that it did work on him?

Well, what can one expect from you, who has such biased view about almost everything you post on this forum.
indeed i am so biased, that i criticise my own players more than the players of any other country.
