You'll Never Walk Alone
Just a few comparisons...
Hussey averages over 100 in his first ever test series, and gets a score of 8.
Flintoff 'tries really hard, and it wasn`t his fault that his batting was bad' and gets 8.

Ponting gets a 50 and two big hundreds from six innings and gets 7.
Collingwood gets two big fifties from four innings and gets 7.

MacGill consistently troubles batsmen with every spell and gets a 5.
Vaughan performs absolutley horribly, bar a good 50 and gets a 5.
Strauss plays a few innings, does crap, gets a 4.
Giles and Udal get hammered on the sub-continent, also get 4.

I like to fight.

Yeh for sure, for example 8 to flintoff what for?
Well, at a stretch, one for his match-saving fifty at Faisalabad, and five for his bowling in the first two Tests - but where the other two came from I've no idea. He's been almost as dumb as KP when it comes to dismissal methods recently.

Batting four and being the major bearer of the bowling workload (and the best bowler to go with it) is too much for anyone, even Flintoff. We've flogged him senseless this year - let's not finish next year with him crocked beyond all recognition.

I agree, freddie is genious, they r expecting way too much of him and putting him under alot of pressure

The same man who averages 55.79 in Tests?

Come on Rana was exceptional in this series, his coming on leaps and bounds and has only played 7 tests. Also what’s Liam Plunkett’s average, 60 odd he should never play for England again if you go by that sort of crap.

Why 3 for Giles and 2 for Udal? They were both equally terrible.

Actually Udal did at least get 3 proper batsmen out, Giles got Kamran Akmal and 2 bowlers. So Giles could be considered to have been even more terrible.

Giles had mitigation due to his injury.

I'd agree with Bell being top. Probably most consistent run scorer for England in the series. Great to see him proving his critics wrong :p

When has he done that exactly?.
Just look at his career in recent times.

A week after he wasn't fit enough to bowl against England, Smith couldn't get the ball off him against Zimbabwe...
