I definately think Anderson has been given a rough deal as far as ODIs are concerned.

I can understanding his shunning from the test side, as his performances were very uninspiring, but he has always maintained fairly good ODI form mixed in with the occassional showing of brilliance.

I certainly wouldnt be playing two spinners if Giles wasnt fit.
he's a young lad that was picked from club cricket and thrown in the test arena. He did bloody well in my opinion. And has showed true potential to become a cracking player for us. Uninspiring performances is very harsh dude :@ When he exploded on the scene the whole cricketing community when berzerk!!! Hence why he lost some of his edge methinks from the added pressure.

yeh,i dont think the ECB 'make Anderson a star' project really helped his cricketing abilities.

nope the ECB should hold their hands up and say they did a Warne and dropped a clanger there :D

Hell of a talent though. He gets large amounts of swing and aint no slow coach either  .

Keep faith. It took 4/5 years for the "make Fred a star" project to start reaping rewards.

Schofield didn't have a project. He was just randomly thrown in by the ECB in the hope that he'd be our Warne and manage to do it all by himself. He couldn't do it all by himself, was cast back from whence he came, and gave up trying.

If my list is up to date, the only one they haven't made is asking John Lydon to perform at the Twenty20 final, but I suppose they're his renditions of God Save The Queen and Anarchy In The UK for when Lords finally hosts finals day so they can upset the MCC members.

...I think I might be the only Johnny fan who likes cricket left, so I'd enjoy it if no one else.

They are not reported because they are NOT PICKED up by the selectors to play for national team!!

Pakistan selectors keep on encouraging and picking up dodgy bowlers. In past it use to be Junaid Zia and Riaz Afridi, and now they have chuckers in Shabbir and Malik in the team.

I think its not enough to just ban a bowler from participating in further matches, a team that has been found playing with chucker should be punished.I recommend the following measures,

--- The result of the match should be reversed in the favor of team that was the victim of chuckers.

--- If a country continue to pick chuckers for test matches every now and then then the ICC should take measures and should appoint an Independent selection committe (either the selectors being from different countries or from neighbouring country) that will make sure that the team doesn't go into test matches with chuckers.
What's your view on Harbijan Singh then, does he chuck or ever has chucked??
