And did Umar Gul and Mushtaq Ahmad figured in that series? if not then what the point in referring to that series???
Look at what I was quoting. I don't see those two adding a huge amount to Pakistan's bowling attack.

Players without contract dispute ? That would include players from the very first match played a nation - last i checked, there was no issue with contracts between Viv Richards and WICB.
You defy believe at time.

It is obvious what side I am talking about - a side that although not one the strongest is far from being a minnow because it has at least 4 either very good or better batsmen in.

So long as Jonesy is fit and fat bob is jogging down the pitch to tonk the spinners then we should be ok!

What makes you think he'll play? IMHO Bell won't be dropped, and the reserve batsman will be Joyce.

And why on earth would Fat Bob ever jog anywhere? Not to mention how...... :p

utter tosh.
You could stick Steve Waugh, Langer, Martyn and Clarke in a high school team and they still would struggle to beat Zimbabwe - as west indies have. Nevermind that Gayle is nowhere near Langer as a test batsman.

I'm not sure what is more absurd, an English batsmen using his feet to a spinner (unless you're called Steve Harmison) or Fat Bob jogging.

I always want fat bob to play, hes like a big teddybear!! I don't why but he does do the odd jog to the spinners, the ball must resemble some lump of salami or meat based substance!! :D

I would request you NOT to call me by someone else's name.
And i would also request you to either come up with a logical counter or stick to yer high school level chatter with people of your mentality.

If you came up with something that actually needed a counter that a 5 year old couldn't bring up, it'd be a start.

Right, kiddo.
I guess thats why you have no logical thing to say instead just wallow in your jingoism. And i suppose if a 5 year old could bring up a counter, your intellectual capacity is lower than even that, given that you havnt produced a counter.
Again i will say- go educate yourself before you have a rather ignorant sense of the english language and its applications. I am quiete tired correcting your English, frankly.

My squad would be

Vaughn
Trescothick
Strauss
Bell
Pietersen
Joyce
Shah

G Jones
Prior

Giles
G Swann
Flintoff
S Jones
Harmison
Hoggard
Anderson

Theres a need for keeping the spirit of the Ashes, but we need ready replacements for the likes of Geraint Jones and Ian Bell

Thanks James, I felt the forum needed an Exeter City slant, as well as Somerset CCC

Exceptionally glad that I'm on a forum that will talk endlessly about the averages of respective wicket-keepers from county cricket, because most of my friends eyes tend to glaze over ,when I do that

Mushtaq Ahmad on Pak pitches can be as effective as any English bowler on subcontinent (provided Mustaq is on top of his form)

JUst have a look at his record and u will know what i'm talking about!
