I wonder if he'd even have been selected had Trescothick travelled...

Anyhow, england are about to romp home with the win. I still think thats a partial embarressment to let Zimbabwe score that much. Anyway im still proud of my team. Winning is winning at the end of the day.

Yep, you never know, he might be able to scrape some runs against the Kenyans, that might send Chris into a joyful fit though..

Only if they drop him twice in two balls.

im not saying the zimbabweans bowling was amazing (far from it), but the fielding was terrible! solanki and bell dropped early on. who knows, who knows...

running between the wickets didnt help either.

Little things, little things... (la la la...)

4th ODI -- it makes sense to rest Giles and Solanki, but why bring back Gough over Anderson? That's crazy, Anderson needs the practice, Gough isn't even going to SAf...

Unless they've brought him in for his final England appearence ever....

Jones chipping in without yet another very useful ontribution, pulling England out of yet another precarious position.

Has anyone noticed the bowling of Matsikenyeri lately? Its improving leaps and bounds! He completely changed his action (as in, scrapped the old one completely!) not five months ago.

Aslo, Taylor's bowling has been very expensive. If he is going to bowl, it should be in the middle somewhere, not in the last 10.

The cricinfo scorers made an error at one stage saying Masakadza was going to have a bowl. I dont think that would be a bad idea really.

Ahh.. Nkala bowling now.... and getting tonked again...

Why is he even in the squad? What about Mahwire? (dont laugh, hes been in awesome form in the Logan Cup and their OD comp).

Jesus Christ hes bowling ANOTHER over!

This is cricket suicide!

Taibu should have a bowl himself!

When this team was first put togerth he batted 4 and bowled 10 overs each game. He was thei shining light. Now hes wasted. Taylor can 'keep. Bring on Taibu!

Good to see Vaughan not deal in boundaries for once. He scratched his way to 50 before getting going, much more ODI play.
