So glad for Powar. Finally getting the break he's deserved for so long and getting 3 wickets despite 2 more missed chances.

Powar shows the way

Flights the ball and first Strauss and then Flintoff play all over straighter ones.

A seasoned pro is always a strength and Powar is nothing if not one.

Well done.

Did Dravid confuse Raina with Gambhir ?

Edit :- The only reason I can think of is that Gambhir bowls legspin and Raina is a mediup pacer.

Is Dravid on crack or something? Raina is an accurate and experienced bowler in the domestic circuit and did well in the warm-up match. Yet he opts for Gambhir, who is worse than I would be if I tried leg-spin in a match (I've never tried it in the nets in my life).

This is not experimentation, this is ********. It's like sending in Sreesanth to open because he did well on one occasion in a test. (well, almost that bad).

That's why Dhoni isn't all that bad. Terrible against the spinners but tons of energy on the field.
One great run out every four or five games vs. three drops every game.

You decide.

We need KP's wicket now. If he stay until end, he is going to give our pacers good smacking.
