Well, he did hit a four and a six the two balls before , so I wouldn't go that far.Barney Rubble said:KP is Yuvraj's bunny.
Would you, given our performances over the last couple of years?Sanz said:Not a single English fan is awake and watching the game ?
To watch the game over here you need Sky TV, which is stupidly expensive. Hence very few English people would be able to watch the game, even if they were up.Sanz said:Not a single English fan is awake and watching the game ?
Because they each average about 23 and we're trying to match Dhoni (just fall short though!)mr cricket said:why are england playing 2 keepers?
Sorry I was just kidding, you did miss KP's batting though. He batted wel before throwing his wicket in the end.wpdavid said:Would you, given our performances over the last couple of years?
Exactly, he'd taken 10 runs from 2 balls, so why not push a single somewhere?silentstriker said:Well, he did hit a four and a six the two balls before , so I wouldn't go that far.
I've never heard that about a KP innings before!Sanz said:Sorry I was just kidding, you did miss KP's batting though. He batted wel before throwing his wicket in the end.
There's a reason for that ...Barney Rubble said:As I type, Blackwell bowled. I'm beginning to think he's never going to get runs in an ODI.
Yes, but you only need 1/5 of one of them to match his keeping.marc71178 said:Because they each average about 23 and we're trying to match Dhoni (just fall short though!)
That's what I thought. You'd think he'd at least pass 30-odd at some point during those 12 games - he's now got five left in which to do so.wpdavid said:There's a reason for that ...
To be fair, he was on a bit of a hiding today, coming in with only a handful of overs to go. But he does need to make some runs in this series, I would have thought. He's been given a big opportunity this winter - 12 odi's on the trot, in all probability, so it's about time we saw something from him.
Bear in mind this is Prior and Jones you're talking about.silentstriker said:Yes, but you only need 1/5 of one of them to match his keeping.

Probably because he reckoned he needed to make the most of Yuvraj, which isn't the worst thinking on earth. From what I've heard it was poorly executed rather than badly planned (ditto Delhi) although, tbf, I didn't see it. For all his fallibilities, he still seems to be the only one of our top 6 who regularly has a clue in this form of the game.marc71178 said:Exactly, he'd taken 10 runs from 2 balls, so why not push a single somewhere?
which one , KP batting well or throwing his wicket away?marc71178 said:I've never heard that about a KP innings before!
Don't count your chickens - England still have a shot.IndianByHeart said:England fall short of 20-30 runs in the end, India wouldn't have much problem chasing this score.
